The candidate will be responsible for designing and drawing dredgers, dredging components and marine equipment, studying new dredging solutions and supporting in the preparation of estimates. The successful candidate has previous experience in the job at a dredging company, naval or operating in the engineering sector. Specific expertise is required in the technical/economic evaluation for the selection, sizing and management of dredging equipment.

• Identify the technical characteristics of the mechanical system to be designed
• Create rough drafts and designs for prototypes
• Generate 2D and 3D drawings using CAD programs
• Modify the initial design according to the results of analysis, tests and simulations on prototypes
• Complete the technical project in detail
• Create technical sheets and documentation
• Define the production process of the designed mechanical system or component
• Follow the product industrialization phases
• Liaise with engineers, technicians and other professionals to improve the product
• Develop the project within the predefined schedule and objectives

• Degree in naval or mechanical engineering
• Languages: Spoken and written Italian. Knowledge of English and other languages is required.
