UNIT POSITIONING
The transverse thruster unit, which can be installed in any type of hull, is fitted onto the vessel within a special bow head tunnel. |

INSTALLATION
Installation and maintenance of the transverse thruster should
take place while the vessel is in dry dock.
The unit can be removed from inside the tunnel as shown in
the diagram. |
LUBRICATION The unit features a lubrication system with a compensation tank (shown in the diagram) and water-tight seals. The oil bath guarantees perfect gear functioning and efficiency even after long periods of inactivity. |

TRANSMISSION
The unit is supplied with a hydraulic gearbox (either electric
or diesel) with a proportional electro-hydraulic variable
capacity pump. The control panel features all commands and
controls, with radio controls available as an optional feature. |
